Nostalgia isn't a liar

Nostalgia isn't a liar

A Poem by Thisismythearpy
"

Another one of those lame breakup poems/ losing someone poems so be warned.

"

Time has gone on

Though I have not

Even though we were so long ago

I am still caught

Nostalgia isn’t a liar

At least not all the time

It does hold some memories higher

But it does not lie

I remember the good

While also the bad

I remember the happy

While also the sad

Though there may never be a return to what was had

Just know if there was, I would be extremely glad

So true. And elegantly penned despite the simplicity.
