Death always wins

Death always wins

A Poem by Thisismythearpy
"

Just another stereotypical poem about death.

"

Watching the life drain from their eyes

Cold and still they lie

There was nothing that could be done

Old and frail

Which is why they failed

To cling to life

In the end it doesn't matter how hard we try

We will always die

Just like those before us

Look at your enemies

Look at your friends

Death will take them in the end

We all began the same way

On earth we were not meant to stay

Death will always win
