Dead man in a living room

Dead man in a living room

A Poem by Thisismythearpy
"

Basically this is about being depressed and sitting watching TV all day.

"
A dead man in a living room
Deepening sadness
From fear of the madness
Outside his tomb

Television his only distraction
From the inevitably
Of being able to execute the actions
To save himself

Sinking into his chair
Pretending not to care

Of the future or the past
Good feelings that did not last

Eternally in his chair he will be
Save me

Are the final words on his lips
Before he slips

Into the void

You can feel the lack of excitement and the overall depression the character is going through. Was a good read, expressive. Thanks for sharing!
