Bitter brew

Bitter brew

A Poem by Thisismythearpy
"

Another depressing poem about what I associate black coffee with.

"
I take my coffee black
Your favorite color

The bitter taste reminds me of you
How a sweeter one was once on my lips

I was never happier
Now I have never been sadder

Black coffee
Blacker nights

I’m losing touch
I’m losing sight

Please turn on the light

Oh how coffee illustrates life in many lights. This is good.
