the risen wings have fallen

In shadows deep, where darkness reigns supreme,

A fallen angel weeps, his wings now torn,

Once proud and mighty, now lost in a dream,

The risen has fallen, his fate forlorn.

Beneath the weight of sin and sorrow's toll,

He bows his head in shame, his heart in chains,

Once radiant light, now lost in the scroll,

The fallen one, forever in disdain.

But in the depths of despair's darkest night,

A glimmer of hope, a flicker of grace,

The fallen can rise, reclaim his lost flight,

And find redemption in love's warm embrace.

So let us remember, no matter how far,

The fallen can rise, become a bright star.
