Desperately Craving You

Desperately Craving You

A Poem by ~Anita Sandlin~

Desperately I wait for the morning light,
cause that's when you'll be back in these
arms of mine to hold tight.
All through the night I crave the smell
of your skin, the taste of your lips,
and the warmth of your touch.
Desperately I long to hold you in my arms
and tell you that I love you with every
breath that I breathe.
All through the night I watch the clock
tick down the minutes until your next call,
for your voice is long to be heard.
Desperately I want you to know what you
mean to me, and the love I have for you
is forever true.
All through the night I try to find things
to help me make it until morning light.
