Faded Childhood

Faded Childhood

A Poem by Annie
"

The experience of remembering my childhood through my tea set.

"

China set, webbed cracks

Insect husks sift through the holes

Dusty memories.

Author's Note

Annie
I realized that I was missing a syllable in this haiku. Nonetheless, do you prefer the bottom line's old idea of "Memorie's bones" or "Dusty memories"? I feel like "Dusty memories" is more congruent with the rest of the poem's subject matter. But let me know!
