Treasure

Treasure

A Poem by Soren

Expectations
too high, too low.
Cast out
like a fisherman
who throws his net
into the deep, dark
deep, blue ocean
Praying
the latticework to be
full of
writhing, dying creatures
What will happen
when you draw in your net
and see
only me?
Everyone has a treasure.
Am I of worth to you?
