Falling For You

I haven’t experienced anything like this,

Like my insides are in a twist.

When you smile,

My heart aches for a while,

Because I know you won’t be there to catch me,

But to be honest I don’t want to be set free.

 

I don’t want to miss your smile,

But I also don’t want to live in denial.

I have to know if you feel the same,

If I’m the only one going through this pain.

 

I feel like you’re avoiding me,

That you don’t want to talk to me,

The only you don’t want to see.

Even though I really like you,

It doesn't seem like you like me too.

 

Why, why am I always the only one falling,

The one that’s always crawling.

Did someone cast an anti-lovable spell,

Trying to count how many times I fell.

Living without anyone to love,

It’s extremely lonely and tough.

Why can’t it be easier,

Getting your heart out of its freezer.
