ScarsA Poem by Anon214Written to spread awareness of emotional hurt
Scars
They hold memories And I'm not talking about the one from when you fell of your bike Or from the night you took a blade to your wrist Though those scars hold memories I'm not talking about those The ones you can't see The ones that will never fade The ones that appeared on your heart with every word Weather you said it or the kids you pass on the hall It will never go away Neither the scar or the memory That moment the word came out Maybe it was ugly Maybe it was fat Or maybe even freak There are so many And a place where everyone one will appear written on your soul And every time it pierces you it goes a little deeper A little harder It hurts just a bit more These scars aren't like the others When they appear it's almost like a tattoo, the story is imprinted on you It won't go away the thought of it makes you cringe Those are the scars you look out for The ones no one sees Scars © 2016 Anon214Author's Note
