Catch Your Breath

Catch Your Breath

A Poem by Kory

The Shouting Cheers Beg For The Death Beds

As The Man With The Microphone Smiles With His Teeth

Pointing His Finger At The Original Variety

Scaring The Other Side Of The Walls

As They Crumble To The Floorboards By Our Own Voices

Oceans Stir Is Miscontent, While The Sun Beams Spin In Chaos

Shall The Moon Speak Tonight?

Are We Yet The Contempt Faces That Look Inside Of The Mirrors

Cracking Every Edge Of The Reflective Lies

As The Tired Coffins Sigh In The Darkness

Fire Speaking, Hearts Beating So Quick You Cant Even Think

For The Broken Record Player Keeps Your Words

Locking Them Inside A Pin Needle Creation That Needs No Explanation

A Corrupt Nation Looks To The Skies Last Breath

Sealing The Signals From Our Stones In The Birthplaces

Shaken By Fortunes Unwanted On The Other Side Of The Forest

We Light The Matches Laughing

Who Ever Told You To Catch Your Breath
