Time

Time

A Poem by AnonymousPoetry
"

This is a poem about time being subjected to a constant change and sometimes change is all we need to start afresh. But what happens when time changes and everything else changes but not you?

"
Time will heal you,
Time will heal me too,
I hear this a lot from friends a few.

Time moves me,
Gets me out of bed,
Strikes me hungry,
And sober in bed.

But the time left in between
Leaves me so depressed,
Restless and spineless
I beg myself to careless.

Careless about the world,
Careless about the people,
Careless about everything else in the middle,
That urges my want to unlive
The dusk life I now live.

Time had greeted and gone,
It changed a lot,
The place I call home,
The people I call friends,
The dreams I see
Are now clearer,
But, I remain the same,
Unchanged, broken and mindless.

Will someone ever break it?
This black wall that came to me as a gift,
Am I worthy of any other colour than black,
Or is my life locked on the same track?

Time is ticking,
Tick tock, tick tock,
Someone be my last hope,
The last chance I have now lost.

Time wins over me every time,
But, its a slave to change
And that keeps in line,
Whilst in the queue I wait
For that summer hope to shine,
For the day I get to call you mine.

For time is a slave to change,
And that change needs  time,
And once again time will bring
To me what's already mine.

beautiful creative and very expressive poem, it speaks about time being valued and at the same time being forgotten.
