Sasha

Sasha

A Poem by N. N. Grainger
"

a true story

"

My sister Sasha

In nascent nightime,

My mother Dreamed

A little girl named Sasha,

And within her beamed

The dimples on the cheeks,

Of a brand new baby daughter.

And so she named her,

The little girl she dreamed.

ya know, i had a dream once i had a child named trevor alexander. it was very strange because my friend named alexander is a soldier in iraq & i dreamed he had died over there & i named him after him. i liked this poem, it is short, in few words you get your message across & sometimes i think less is more. it has a very nice flow to it too. good write.
