The Air Pressure Phenomenon

The Air Pressure Phenomenon

A Poem by King of the North (but only on weekdays)

Clouds form above, a sign of darker days to come
Air pressure fluctuates and so too does her mood
A migraine forms
Her head hits the pillow

Today will go unaltered
My plans will still remain
I am stronger than a change in the wind

Across the room her lizard sits
He scuttles in a frenzy
Moving forward
Leaving behind a trail
It's skin slowly shedding
The skin now fully shed

She sympathises
Relates
And so she realises

And so too does she shed
Leaving behind all stress
All past thoughts
Her mind now fully clear

Her head still throbs with pain
Her body feels lethargic

But a clear mind prevails
And so she rises to her feet
And goes about a day

A smile will form
