My Light Blossoms like Gemstones...

Firefly flying
glow-in-the-dark spelunking
Caverns' labyrinth 
investigating unknown:
"Can I handle what is next?"

How deep do I go before
what awaits comes out
seeking to devour me;
waiting for that one mistake...

Nymphs serenading,
attracting chaos to me.
Spiritual attacks
coercing thoughts with whispers:
temptation mixed confusion

Poisonous, dark claws
scratching slowly down heart/mind
to make me falter,
with delusions of pleasure;
turn my heart to be consumed

Fighting to turn back,
but I endure and embrace
torturous mind games.
Darkness surveils defenses
to fracture my hopes and dreams

Light growing inside
pressing against enemies,
"Return to shadows,"
with demented melodies,
evil hatches schemes to song

Yet, something pulls me
deeper into the chasm;
more I need to know
without fearing for my life:
"My light blossoms like gemstones..."
