Sometimes I just need to be heard

Sometimes I just need to be heard

A Poem by CA Anurag Sharma
"

This poem is written in the heat of the moment. Just flow of words which came, nothing else

"
Sometimes i just need to be heard,
When I am down and hurt,
I just need those ears to listen,
I just want to free those words,
I want to break the silence,
Let my words do the rest,
Not worrying whether I am right or wrong,
Not worrying about anything or anyone around,
I just want to pour that out,
let this world know that even I am human,
Even I feel the pain,
I cant be quiet for long now,
I want to get all out,
Leaving that gentleman behind me,
I want to yell, I want to shout,
listen to me for once,
Sometimes i just want to be heard.

This struck me as a primal scream in poetry form Anurag - pain rising like lava in a volcano and has to be released otherwise - we dread to think...
The saddest line - it really choked me up was this:
"let this world know that even I am human," - such a dark place this came from :(

The poem/prose may be sad but the saying of it - the telling of it - the writing of it, is more than positive - its defiant !!
Good honest writing Anurag :)

and writing it out is the best way to be heard---
readers will read and feel the guts of the poem...will feel the writer behind the words...feel the happiness, or pain...

sometimes the words will shout for us....strong emotion in this piece.

thank you Sir... for the kind words... :)
"Let my words do the rest... " I love this beautiful line which's itself seemed worth-reading... in all ways. Nice poetry. There's too many things you've defined/expressed through the very little piece of art. Keep it up!

Hey..It's really true that at times a feeling arises to yell and pour out not giving a damn if the right words come out or not...
Well expressed! :)

Thank you Arshia...glad you liked it :)
I agree with words and meaning of those, but I would like to say nothing lasts forever, neither emotion nor written words, only that lives is our work. You have written it well that every heart wants someone, in the time there nothing left but tears. Beauty of wrath or vivid image of wrath, depends on reader.

Wish you the same.
This is really interesting!
I like that you used the same line for the beginning and the end, it works well!
Just a question, is there a specific meaning for the lower case i found in the first and last lines?

Anyways, I like the short lines.
I think you could inject more imagery, especially with that cool line; "Leaving that gentleman behind me, I want to yell,"

Good work!
