Summer friend

It's a poem about the beautiful summer season

The blazing sun,
Knocked up at my window,
To wish me morning,
With the face cheery and sporting.

We went for the morning walk,
he was taller and older than ever,
He patted on my shoulder. Shock.
And started a warm talk.

He talked about the flowers, fruit
And the ice cream,
All his favorite,
But the mangoes he said
The most he'd savour it.

In the day,
He asked me to go to beach,
To swim with my girl Helen,
To drink coconut and eat melon.
I went and returned. Happy as ever.

I got a pretty tan,
Thanks to my man,
Goodnight sun, I wished,
As he was going,
I saw the moon arriving,
The summer moon,
Such a boon.
