Felled Core

Felled Core

A Poem by Anthony

Is there really anything,
To keep me here and true?
Who is there to save me,
When my soul comes due?

From near and far,
You call me kin,
And look to me,
For advice and help.

For not my own,
Core does groan.
As you all scatter,
As though I not matter.

This truth is told,
For I am not bold.
My balance is not held,
My core be felled.
