the horrors of uncertainty

the horrors of uncertainty

A Poem by Vincent

people are constantly reminded of where their lives lie,
and constantly haunted by their loved ones taht die.
the are followed and observed wherever they go,
remembering that their lives are ever so slow.
a sign of surrender is shown as they sigh,
as they too grow old, and also they die.
they were unable to live their lives as they may,
they were unable to live their lives anyway.
their entire lives were in binds,
as they were trapped inside their very own minds.
their lives dissolved as they stared into the glass,
with their attentions fixed on their very own pasts.
some things are clarly not meant to be,
as the one looking in can clearly see.
these people now live their lives forsaken,
plagued by the memory of the lives that were taken.
