A Place My OwnA Poem by ApplesauseJust a quick poem I whipped up...Sometimes
I wish I
could escape; I wish
to travel far.
To
have a world, A
place, my own To
dream, A
realm bizarre.
I wish
to fly, I wish
to soar, To look
down on the clouds.
And
maybe then, Somehow
I’ll see, The
truth, That
life surrounds.
Like
Alice, In her
wonderland; Like
Peter Pan, In Neverland.
I wish
to have, A place,
my own, I wish
a place, To call
my home. © 2014 ApplesauseAuthor's Note
