TERRACOTTA WARRIORS

Like bookends

sat

in comfortable silence

nestled

amongst biographies

bursting with stories

amusing and

not so amusing

that map lives

forever entwined

in friendship

stoic and resilient

as terracotta warriors

until

they crumble to dust.

Those warriors are strong beings.. seen them... but fascinating. Ancient beings - stayers, remaining in the memory, leaving private thoughts, birthing different stories, experiences. '.. lives forever entwined - in friendship - stoic and resilient .. '
