Petals In Flame

Petals In Flame

A Poem by Draven

Emotions dance each time you're near,
An epic struggle of love and fear.
One hand grips the Cupid's bow,
The other weilds the war god's spear.

Back and forth they twist and turn
Like rose petals falling in flames to burn.
I hold my each and every breath,
Although I know it leads to death.
This mess in me needs remedied,
A lock so desperate for a key,
And as I search so frantically
I fear you will not stay with me.
