Love Game

Love Game

A Poem by Arctic Fox
"

Losing the game

"

Am I fated to be alone all my life?

Will I grow old single and with no wife.

One girl with my heart leaves and another appears.

Yet she is taken and I want to shed even more tears.

I can’t catch a break in this game of love.

I feel like I should give up altogether.

I want to be the raven, not the dove.

I just want to disappear forever.

Wonderful rhyme scheme and wonderfully relatable. This is such a good emotive poem with beautiful imagery. I love the raven and the dove. Very nice.

it was written before you opened my eyes Kiba. Now I see a smart, beautiful, sarcastic, amazing girl at my side and wouldn't want it anyother way!

Being alone is such a terrible fate
But dont you realise? its not too late
when you met her you also met me,
your eyes were closed but now you see.

Its only a game if you play to win
Roll the dice and see what you get
Fly with me and foget to sin
its a love game, just dont quit

lol sorryi just loved the rythm of it so i commented in the same way XD

This is amazing. I think you were able to really drive home the emotion. The style I believe it is, remember I'm not much of a poet, is good. Not really what you normally see but it really fits to this piece.
