A Cure for My Foolishness

A Cure for My Foolishness

A Poem by Arcus

This delightful tragedy unfolds before our very eyes
Silent screams tear from my throat,
As I cry helplessly to unforgiving walls that have not the ears to hear my madness

This was all an act in a grand play of self-deceit and vexing false redemptions
My memories bleed imperfections that cannot be erased
This inescapable solitude is the majesty of my torment

And now I wander aimlessly
Leaving this world in splendorous dread
Destroying all hope of return
This existence is torture
Ripping my flesh from the bone
I strive for a way out

This is my last request to the cruel sky that leaves me in darkness
An anguished dream fulfilled in death

Hello! I came across your public review request from this page: http://www.writerscafe.org/forum/The-Cafe/To-All-Who-May-Actually-Care/8723/.

It felt as tragic as you describe...I really feel from your poem...

Sorry if its a bit short, but I'm getting tired now...Lol....I will look at other poems next time :)
