Another lonely night

Behind closed doors.

Lord knows, I keep praying for something more.

 

Something or someone

To take away the shame.

All these nights of solitude,

Are driving me insane.

 

You would think I should be happy,

As my heart can no longer be slain,

But spending all these nights alone.

I feel just as much pain.

 

It’s another lonely night

Behind four walls.

Lord knows I keep asking

For a miracle to fall.

 

My eyes cry tears

And my heart feels small.

It is another lonely night,

After all.
