Little Bird

Little Bird

A Poem by Arizona Sky
"

Little Bird Little Bird To were do you fly In te warm morning sky?

"

Little bird

Little bird

To where do you fly

In the warm morning sky?

Do you fly to your nest

Where your babies do rest

And your love is just waiting

After season mating

Little bird

Little bird

Where do you go

In the sun's golden glow?

Do you go to the fountain

Where fish play and jump

And rainbows form

With sun's early touch

Little bird

Little bird

Where do you leave

As the moon ends it's grieve?

Do you leave to the south

Where it's warm in sun's mouth

And the butterflies flit

Thier dances just fit

Little bird

Little bird

Where do you flee

In the dawn's early glee?

Do you flee to the yard

With the kind man's hand

Who gives you some feed

For a song as your plea

Little bird

Little bird

Why can't you stay

And sing a song for me

Just for today

Just kind of came out. I guess it could be a child's poem or something. :) Even though the second stanza may be a bit...much?
Hope you enjoy!

a very nice quizzical poem - observing nature - the birds flocking - running from the moon to the sun!! it has a nice positive feel to it too! it also has many other interpretations if you look beneath the surface - possibly nostalgic, people leave your life - can't they just stay to sing for another day? nice poem!!!

Nice tone overall. I can see this being turned into an illustrated children's book. Some of the rhymes are a little weak - "after season mating" and "the moon's grieve" - but I love the repetition and the lightness of the poem overall.
