Captured, broken

Even when your hands were distant

Your thoughts my soul

 

I couldn't break free

Even if I wanted to

Your calling was so strong

So persistent...so long

 

Addiction

Malnutrition

Rubble, remains of mindless play

Broken...always slave

 

Three days is what you had

To use me as you wanted

Instead you stayed away

And ignored my empty stare

 

So then the chain was broken

Forever I was free...

But I still ran back to you

Because addiction can not flee

 

I'm addicted to your lonely stare

Your broken hands and body

Your stringy, ripped up hair...

 

But you wasted those three days

When I could have been yours

And so therefore I just gave up

Passed to different ways

 

I know that love can never win

When hate is so abroad

Especially when

Love is only held by one

 

So why do I still feel so broken

I did what they all say

Gave you all three days

sometimes love can be one way - I like that you keep going back to the idea of it being 3 days - the speed - the abuse and usage - some great philosophical meanderings here too - "I know that love can never win"!! nice!

This truly isn't bad, but it seems like you tried to stress the rhymes a little bit in places. Other than that, I think you should've taken it easy on the periods. I can see the use of them in a couple places, and only three at a time to show a sort of halt, but you might've overdone it.
