In the depths of night, where shadows creep,
silent cries echo, the world won't sleep.
children wander with hungers ache,
while love is the whisper that time can break.

The streets are line with forgotten dreams,
faith feels fragile, unraveling seams.
In suffering heart, we search for light,
yet darkness lingers, just out of sight.

the grace in a world so cold?
in tales of sorrow that history told?
we gather but find no divine spark,
just human struggle, lost in the dark.

though questions linger, heavy and bare,
in our shared pain we find no answer there.
in every tear, in every sigh,
we confront the truth
god does not reply.

Meaningful and nice. Perhaps you could improve the form (not the message) of the last three verses. :)
