The Fate of Greed

The Fate of Greed

A Poem by Arrinae
"

A tale from the Heroine of 'To End the Crusade' 's past.

"

Everything she saw,

She claimed as hers.

The men, the women,

And even their powers.

The world was to be hers,

So she thought.

Every single thing,

Person, or thought.

Flirted with the medic's husband,

Ignored the Shade.

The one she wanted most,

Treated her like a plaything.

He threw her a bone,

But never gave more.

She noticed then,

Who he looked for.

The blasted medic,

Everyone always followed.

Their unnamed leader,

Their group's heart and soul.

Created a trap, she did,

The medic realized it at once.

Yet still, she went willingly,

To be sent to her own personal hell.

She was surprized then,

Her reward for handing the medic over.

Was to see the medic's sad smile,

As they stabbed the greedy child.

Is this one about the the brother's wife? It is sad that she was set aside by the one she wanted most. She seems envious to me, wanting the medic to suffer for things that she could not control. It is unfortunate how tragic all of these characters are.
