My Alice, my Beloved

My Alice, my Beloved

A Poem by Arsenic
"

This is a poem about the love of my life. I don't know what I would do without her. She is my everything.

"

I

So broken and torn apart

Tortured at the hands of a cruel world

Pulled down by those I trusted most.

I came to you seeking only shelter

A brief respite from cruelty

Instead you offered so much more

So glad am I that I accepted

Slowly you rebuilt my heart

With loving hands of gentleness

Touching the darkest most forlorn places

Filling them with hope and light

You molded a boy into a man

You shaped a heart of deciet and darkness

Into one of trust and light

You believed in me

You loved me and healed me

Broken as I was

To You my love is given, Angel

My Alice, my beloved
