The tale of the Storyteller

(As Emëriel told)

Oh let me tell you a story, but what story I will choose?

There's so many of them, always like the lingering thought or a memory

which shall not pass away before I write it on paper.

As Emëriel 'The Light-foot' told

‘ Ai! nearby of the stream of Yngwir

and the water  falls  Emëriel used to dance

and sing of the Western Lands of

the Gods!

I used to dance to the

music along with other,

Emëriel the light-foot!

Now I dance alone,

and alone forever. ‘

Now as time passes, it seems that my stories, there's no end to them.

Lo! An another thought came into my mind as the flawless movement of the purest soul.

Oh let me tell you the Tale of the Lady of the Sea

O such a graceful voice rose through

from the bottom of the Seas

a slender and a vivid voice of her

Uinen, she is singing

singing with intensifying voice

‘ Come, O come all you creatures of

The Seas!

It is day of the feast!

Now let me tell you a story, but which one you want to hear?

Dreams flowing through me like water that laughs when

it finds its way out after the coldest breeze.

Come and sit down by the fireplace

and listen to our stories of life, love and grief

We want to hear all that you can tell

My dearest friend there’s no need to be in brief.

Oh let me tell you the story of the fair dance of ours

Your gaze held

me in place

standing still

even though my world

whirling around!

thou didst laughed warmly

and that voice of yours

shivering in me

Now let me tell you a story, but where I should begin?

Memories flowing through me like endless stream

of many rivers that rejoice when they meet.

Lo! An another thought came to me like the most gentle wind beneath your wings,

as the white birds of The Great Sea.

Oh let me tell you the story of Eriëndel the Tender-hearted

Silvery grey mantle

of her and morning dew

in her waist

as tears of those who grieve

Stars glimmering in

her dark hair

and

shivering twilight

met in her eyes

Come and sit down by the fireplace

and listen to our stories of life, love and grief

We want to hear all that you can tell

My dearest friend there’s no need to be in brief.

Lo! Listen to the tale of the storyteller!

I have loved the storytellers. You are a storyteller my friend. I like the set-up and the flow of thoughts. We need storytellers. Make old things become new and if we listen. May learn something. Thank you Sarah for sharing the outstanding poetry.
