Bluebells, bluebells

Bluebells, bluebells

A Poem by ~Sarah~ Idríel The Fair

Bluebells, bluebells

The sweet lullaby of bluebells

as blue as the sky above,

and the fairies dancing happily

until the early hours of morning.

I cried with my heart full of longing ;

‘O merry dancers, wearing blue dresses,

let me dance with you!’

One fairy, pretty as morning dew

break out singing at the time when

the Sun rose to the sky and

first sunbeams embraced the bluebells.

Little fairy of bluebells, silvery as morning dew,

her beautiful voice filled my heart with wonder.

I cried with my heart full of longing ;

‘O merry dancers, wearing blue dresses,

oh how have I been missing you!’
