'Mama saved me

This is for my mom. I love her to death.

'Mama got me through the heartbreak,

she got me through the struggle,

'Mama got me through the pain;

& all the little troubles.

She picked me up, when I was down.

Held me in her arms, whenever I would frown.

She gave me life,

She brought me 'outta hell, When daddy put me there.

She taught me we're all equal,

Gay, Straight, Or trans.

Showed me how to help others up,

even though I was feeling down.

My 'mama's name is Angel 

& I'd say it fits her pretty well.
