Gone With The Frost

Gone With The Frost

A Poem by Emilee Undead
"

Melting.

"

She smiled,
but faded away.
Living in Winter's decay.
In glistening frost,
She grieved what she lost,
And was gone with the frost the next day.

This *almost* sounds like a limerick...
It's short and semi-sweet and gets to the point quickly; which is okay for works like this one. The line meter just sounds a little off. (If you haven't already guessed I'm a Nazi when it comes to something as particular as that. Yikes. >
