To Butterfly

To Butterfly

A Poem by Ash Rx
"

A poem about being in love with someone you can't have.

"

Trust fate lest we laconically collide

And descend into the arms of an angel, suicide

One intangible night eternal in bliss

Dissolving essence of one final butterfly kiss

Our rapid heartbeats match in loving elongated rhythm

Rhythmic of the beauty withheld by mayhem

Wingspread crossover, cover her face

Comfortable caress of the cocoon, her warm embrace

I would die for you

For I adore you

Integrate--melt into me

Confuse lucid dreams with memory

Fatal attraction to every imperfection

Cruciation the undertow of the deception, my loving projection

My encephalon passionately holds you in a corrupt spider web of lies

You flutter away the moment I open my eyes

To butterfly
