The second poem of my hospital stay

She said yes

To leaving

To saying goodbye

She said no more

She tried

To be okay with goodbye

To move on

She tried not to miss her

She failed

At getting back on her feet

At being ok

She failed at being stable

She didn't

Believe in herself

Believe in change

She didn't have hope

She said yes

To razors

to falling apart

She said yes to giving up

She said yes

To pills

To her own goodbye

She said yes to attempted suicide

A hospital bed

Relationships damaged

Fear spread

All because she said yes
