Flux

Flux

A Poem by Ashira Macy

Banging on impermeable

Sound-proof walls

Of this hour glass,

Slowly filling to the brim

With skin scorching,

Suffocating sands of

If only

And shattered seashells of

Too late.

Roads take sharp turns,

The grit flowing backwards

In disordered fluctuation,

Tearing at the psych

In a torrent fit for

The asylum of

Could be

And hopeful chant of

I can…

OK .. can not help but be curious as to your work place!? :) i think those little bold phrases .. such common self talk quotes is a great idea .. they bring your poem home to everyone .. and the images and feel of rasping over road rash in between is exquisitely tormenting .. after all that the relief of that beautiful little action potential .." I can..."
glad i stopped here this morning .. nice one!

Thank you sir!
Immerse this writing said to me ! Abstractions can be pulling, it seem that what surrounds you is subject to compliance of , You must , You shall and all other kinds of boundaries which limit what you can do. Well every day is a winding road sang that artist. Sometimes you get soft and smooth sometimes not. And things get difficult enough to challenge your stability yet secure within you say I am up for it.

"All I wanna do is have a little fun before I die"

Thankyou

Thanks so much.
Abstract and lucid. It was able to fire up the imagination mostly of redeeming kind. May be I need glasses soon but the font was little difficult to read. But I still enjoyed the write. Thanks for inviting Ashira.
