Writing prompt #1 - five to eight sentence story using the words: has, power, cloud, war happened.

It's something about the power he has. The power to bring any dirty deed before you and present it as gold. He promises me a chair within the clouds, he promises to finish the war inside my head. And all I have to do is jump when he says jump, grasp his hand so we can leave this world together. I smile at him, obedience in my eyes, and then it happens. The knife twisted past my spine and slithered through my heart. Before flight he returns my smile. I take the journey alone.
