I am from...

I am from...

A Poem by Ashton Moore
"

This is a poem I made in school as an assignment. It explains me a lot so I figured It'd be a great intro. This poem is a intro to a series I like to call (24/7 walking depression machine).

"
I am from cowboy hats and cowboy boots
Cardboard boxes and moving trucks

I am from drugs and evictions
Silents tears and bloodied nails

I am from cuts and confusion
Dented walls and broken doors

I am from high pitched voices and red black outs
continuing on and looking toward the future

I am from CPS and missing siblings
Five brothers and one sister

I am from court cases and restraining orders
Trying my best and sometimes failing

I am from hope and praise

I am from what is called strong but in my eyes weakness and denial...

That's great Ashton. Poetry is very strong when you know it comes from very powerful experienced. It can be a mistake to try to tidy up and correct them too much.
All the best with your writing.
