Possession

Possession

A Poem by Asilem

My hands

They start to shake

The vibrations

They go up my arms

To my chest

Where I start

To convulse

My head

It's thrown back

I writhe in agony

He's taking over

I feel the darkness

Taking over me

I hear him

His voice echos

In my head

He growls my name

I scream

But no sound

Leaves my mouth

He's too strong

I can't fight him

Not again

He'll kill me

He'll squeeze my heart

Until it bursts

Thump, thump, thump---

Silence

I see my body

Though it is not

Mine anymore

I see him in me

I see his evil

Reflected

In my dead eyes

My body

it lifts itself

Until it can sit

My jaw drops limply

Opening wider

Than it ever has

I feel myself

In whatever form

I am now

Being pulled inside

To the darkness

Damn dream.

Um, I'd like your thoughts. What you think of it, if it makes sense, really anything you wanna tell me about it. I would appriciate it. :)
