Fabrication Viciée

Fabrication Viciée

A Poem by Aspere

What will you do when it knocks upon your inner gates
When it asks what you want
What it is you lack
When it wipes clean a dusty trace with a cloth
In its reflection, you'll glimpse some fact sunk in stagnation

What will you do when it covers the fortress of your mind with its shroud
When it asks who you are, and if you love

What will you do, when you ask - " Am I?
