"Know you"

"Know you"

A Poem by AssonanceWriter
"

Daughter to Father

"

I want to know you

A distance figure

A rare soft umbrageous voice

I want to know you

without trembling

without hiding

without fear

I want to know you

A person more than just a heading

A person who will open up to me

I want to know you

I sustain to accept you as my Father

I met disappointment in your indistinct eyes

Won’t you be my Father now and quit being the stranger in the same house

I want to know you

A distance figure

A rare soft umbrageous voice

I want to know you

A person with cold dry hands

I’ve never held them but this I know

Because I am your daughter

I acquire such great absence even though you’re right here

You have a Siberian heart and it’s abundant to hold adequacy

I obtained abashment disposition because I’m just like you

Quiet, inconsiderate, egocentric and of course vague

It must be aggravating to see yourself in my entity

I want to know you

A person more than just a heading

A person who will open up to me

I want to know you

I want to know you

A distance figure

A rare soft umbrageous voice
