A Poem by Xanthous Crow
"

What is your answer? Do you even know?

"
I hate how you never have an answer,
Leaving me asking again and again
And again.
It's always "I don't think so,"
Or "maybe next time."
Well, the chocolates have gone bad,
And the lilies have died.
I'm beginning to see, now,
After my suspicions.
And, I think, after all of this time,
The adoration inside of me
Has also died.

This is emotional but not extremely so. I like the way the ending lines the most. Although it sure does piss you off when 'someone' gives you indefinite answers, after a while of it you just say "Give me an actual answer." I don't really know what to say to this to be honest. Good write.
