can i come over?
i re-read his text wondering
if he made a mistake.
why'd he send me a message like that?
ignoring it seemed to make sense.
and a second text
A are you home
i wanna come see you.

i didn't want to see him
in my apt, my space.
we were not together
why'd he even try
he knew how i was.

he must be drinking
i thought
are you drunk? i don't feel like being punked.
LOL

good the moment passed
i couldn't deal with
an unnecessary uncomfortable
situation.

You know what I actually liked it, though it was simply put it got to the point and you could still get where it was coming from. Even if it was a vent it still came out nicely. Sometimes less is more.
