"

If there were such a fine line between love... And other things.

"
A palpable chill
I reach out and feel
Your heart on your sleeve
And mine at your heels

A cold silver flower
In a spring shower
Won't hurt me much less
When I'm still so much lower

Than you.

Would it be too late
When I stop feeling pain?
Slice me in half, then
If I didn't so hate

You.

If I didn't so love

You.

Author's Note

:-)
If you noticed, I didn't tag this as "romance," but rather, "love." This poem is based off the colaboration novel my friend just completed TODAY. *whoot* We're planning to get it published, and with both of us working together, I think it could be publish-worthy. :D
