All is still

All is still

A Poem by Audrey - Butterfly Woman
"

thoughts of winter's chill

"

‘All is still’

Light streams through the window casting fairy glamour about the room
Strange shadows dance in distant corners
Winter’s chill held at bay
Summer’s glory remembered in the radiance
Silence from the world outside
No children playing in the street
All is still
Birds’ song now a distant memory
Leaves dress the floor before them
Crisp underfoot
Blustering wind grabs them and waltzes with them in the ether
If I pull back the curtain of light about the window what will I see?

God how you made me feel the real chill of winter..
it was only yesterday seeing the leaves covering the grounds like to warm them
a much warmth of summer that has just left too..seems like everything is leaving
a winter, though so much welcome..its like the coming of some long sadness
sadness at a world that is never going right..like its all madness, and I feel really cold
it seems that cold winter really suitable for how everyone feels,it feels so cold inside ,just like outside
Its like we dont deserve the warmth of summer, and the colored earth of autumn
cold freezing winter is like we all need to stop and ponder on how we never behaved
its like nature is telling us you were such bad boys..I will bring you cold and shivers
this is a lovely write
