In the Woods at Night

In the Woods at Night

A Poem by Augusto Cruz
"

Wandering alone with nature

"

In the Woods at Night

Solitude, my old friend
welcome back again
I just felt so lonely
without you in my life

As I seek for you
While I frolic through the woods
I can see the giant greens
that grew up all alone

Wondering how and who
took care of them all
through many storms and fires
they've found ways to grow taller

Raised mi sight to the sky
pure and clean and full of stars
immense, great and full of beauty
while in the woods at night

Taking time to wander
walking with no direction
I've found I am part of
wonderful God's creation

Love the of solitude as a person and his friend, and idea that he was lonely without solitude in his life. Very poetic. Thanks for the share. Mitch.
