Typical love poem

Typical love poem

A Poem by Aureate
"

I wish she could've read this.

"
I remember cold nights and warm cheeks
I remember vivid skies and misty water
When we walked for hours under the glaring sun
Trying to hide giggles and blushes from each other

When you pulled me into corners and embraced me tight
When I writhed in your pleasure, your electrified kiss
You were a sensual rapture, euphoric bliss
You were my garden of Eden and I couldn't get enough

So who would have thought that after all this time
After heart broken stupor, after long lamented nights
Who would have thought I'd be back on my knees
You're in my dreams. You're in my dreams

Author's Note

Aureate
I fit two whole years into three stanzas. That's actually pretty profound.
