Friend-zoned

We have all been there, this is how it has been for me.

Teardrops rolling down your cheek 
Sniffling softly as you weep
I pull you closer and hold you tight
Only able to think what might
Happen between two people
Such as you and I
Loves pass and feelings go
Rocking this roller coaster 
Too and fro
Good friends we are 
So let's take it slow
But more then that I hope to be
A love for me I wish you too see
From the gentle touch of my hand
Wiping tears from your cheek
Softly holding you as you weep.
