Happy

Happy

A Poem by LupiLuv
"

Random.. Not really tightly structured. Meh.

"
I'm sat here in the front yard
On the outside looking in
Leaning against the hot car
Like I'd do back then

Watch you crack a cold one
That one for the road
Wait on you to get done
Getting ready to go

We ride on out into town
For the food and books
Just something to snuggle down
With and get hooked

We lived down in Georgia
You said life was simpler there
You said we could be alone
And that's only fair

We couldn't be broken
You always have me
And all our love tokens
You make me so happy

I'm happy

Some of the most simple moments can make a person happy, whether it'd be hanging out with your favorite person, sit down behind a computer and write something, or even listening to a good song.

Very cool. This had a great feel to it and it is definitely a happy poem. Nicely penned.
